Biblical counseling is a process of focused discipleship through the application of God’s Word and walking in God’s Spirit when dealing with matters of life as a whole. In faith based counseling, this means providing science-based counseling techniques from a professional who shares and understands the faith of their client.
What is Biblical Counseling?
Biblical
The Bible offers foundational truth that brings hope and transforms lives at a heart level. Your counselor will help you apply the gospel to your struggles so that you can understand God’s redemptive purposes for your life.
Relational
You are not meant to walk alone. Our counselors demonstrate God’s gracious pursuit of you in relationship: listening and walking alongside you with encouragement and understanding.
Certified
Our counselors have formal education and are professionally trained in Counseling and the Bible. No techniques, formats, or formulas will provide the lasting change that the Spirit provides.
Do You Take Insurance?
At this time we do not work directly with insurance companies. If you are experiencing a real financial barrier, we encourage you to connect with
your church to request support in making counseling feasible. If they are unable, please let us know.
Individual Counseling
$90 per session
We counsel individual of all ages. At BCA, counseling is a process of self-discovery and growth in knowledge of who God is and how His Word in His Grace is sufficient always. By the power of the Holy Spirit we can address changes in our lives, in our relationships, goals and decisions, through Christ.
Family Counseling
$150 per session
Our counselors walk beside families who are experiencing difficulty in family relationships with biological, foster and/or adopted children. Through faith-based approaches, they will share useful resources for parenting helps as well as tools for vulnerable children.
Marriage Counseling
$150 per session - Individual Counselor
$225 - Husband/Wife Team (limited availability)
Through Scripture and discipleship, our counselors will help you and your spouse navigate difficult conversations and situations. Our counselors are trained to mediate and reconcile troubled relationships.
